Is Pacific International Music a music publishing or a music production company?
We are a music company involved in both publishing and production.

Why do I need a music publisher?
Not every songwriter needs a music publisher. However, most songwriters are so engrossed in the creative process that they often are unable to find time for necessary administrative duties. A music publisher can help you get your songs heard by decision makers at record labels, television, film and alternate resources such as video games, while managing your catalog, negotiating licenses and collecting royalties for the use of your music.

How can I obtain a publishing deal?
We need to hear your songs! We sign staff writers as well as single song agreements. Unlike many other publishing houses, we do have an open door policy with new music. Please email us an mp3 for consideration or send us a link to your work.

Is you catalog solely directed towards the Country music format?
No. Our catalog is expansive and includes Pop, Rock, Americana, Folk, and everything in between. Music is a creative process and we do not limit it into one specific category. Additionally, we pitch songs outside of the American music market and into Canada, Europe and Australia.

I want to cut an album. How can Pacific International Music help?
We can grant licenses for you to use songs from our extensive catalog, and offer co-writing opportunities with our writing team, while advising you on material and working together as a team towards your goal. As a multi-faceted company, we offer top of the line production, engineering, mixing and mastering. Album artwork creation, CD pressing and digital distribution is also available. Our marketing personnel can help you build and an execute a marketing plan, if desired.

You have offices in Nashville and Australia – where would I make my album?
You have the option to do either or a combination of both. For an Australian, New Zealand or Australasian act, we can use a combination of Nashville and Australian session players (thanks to technology) and record the vocals in Australia. This method avoids a costly trip to the U.S. for the artist. Speak with the producer about your options as an artist and we can develop a method that meets your needs.

I want to record and release a song in the Pacific International Music catalog. How do I get a mechanical license to do this?
Please email us and we will direct you to the appropriate licensing agent for the particular composition. You will be advised accordingly.

I am a music supervisor interested in obtaining a synchronization license to use a Pacific International Music song. How do I go about this?
Please email us with as much detail as possible regarding the production and the nature of use.

Can I listen to music on your site?
Absolutely! That is what you are here for! Browse our catalog or check for the newest featured songs on the page footer, on the publishing and production pages, in our catalog, and exclusive clips in our news blog.
